Convention Coordinator

Camille AbbeCamille Abbe is responsible for logistical and administrative arrangement for all MANA annual conventions, coordination of audio visual equipment, meeting rooms, catering services, and lodging arrangements. She is responsible for on-site coordination with facility staff, troubleshooting, delegation of tasks, conflict resolution, money management, and is responsive to the needs of convention speakers and attendees. She also has responsibility for debriefing and post-convention reporting. Her direct supervisor is the 2nd Vice President. Camille has a background in public relations and event planning, and has been coordinating national conventions for MANA since 2009. She is also a trained birth doula and is a new student midwife. Camille lives in the Boston area and spends down time making pottery, gardening and exploring the woods around their solar-powered cabin in Vermont, along with her partner Matthew and their two dogs, Maggie and Pepa. Director of Communications

Jeanette McCullochJeanette McCulloch, IBCLC, provides strategic communications support to MANA, including overseeing MANA's social media and member communications. She partners with MANA's team of volunteer online community managers (OCMs) to ensure MANA has a consistent online presence. She provides the OCMs with training, support, and strategy development. She also partners with the Communications Chair as the acting press officer. Jeanette is the co-founder of BirthSwell and a true believer in the power of communications to create change. BirthSwell is an organization improving infant and maternal health - and changing the way we talk about birth and breastfeeding - by simplifying communications and new media for birth and breastfeeding professionals and advocates. She has been using strategic communications and messaging to change policy, spread new ideas, and build thriving businesses for more than 20 years. Jeanette is honored to be working with local, statewide, national and international birth and breastfeeding organizations and advocates that are committed to increasing women's access to high-quality care and information.
