What is Equity and What Does it Have to Do With Midwifery?

This one-hour webinar, brought to you by Indra Lusero, JD, and the advisor to Midwives Alliance's Access and Equity Committee will give you a picture of midwifery's place in the US health care system and how to not only level the playing field, but raise it enough so that those who most need it, get a boost. Participants will learn how that boost can help communities facing inordinate health disparities as well as midwives, and how being a MANA midwife is being on the cutting edge.

Town Hall Meetings

Continuing the Conversation: Student Spotlight on "Midwifery Student Bill of Rights"

Facilitators: Amy Smith and Treesa McLean

Please join us as we follow up our recent Town Hall about the "Midwifery Student Bill of Rights". We really enjoyed listening to the Town Hall participants and were inspired to continue this conversation! We know there has been controversy about the bill of rights and we want to hear more. Come with your thoughts and questions...we look forward to hearing from midwifery students, aspiring students, preceptors, educators and more. Do you use the Student Bill of Rights in your relationship with your preceptor or students? Do you think that a Student Bill of Rights would clarify the role of student and preceptors?

You can find out more about the "Midwifery Student Bill of Rights" here.

Save the date and join us for another webinar discussion on Tuesday March 24th from 3-4:00PM EDT! You can register here.
